Zaki Samsudin is a Senior Lecturer and Academic Department Head at the School of Communication and Creative Arts, UOW Malaysia KDU. He is an experienced educator and academic administrator with a unique inside knowledge of the Malaysian higher education industry having worked in both public and private institutions in Malaysia since 2004. He has taught a wide range of courses at various academic levels, which includes social sciences and liberal arts courses such as Cross-Cultural Psychology, Political Psychology, Motivation & Emotion, Psychology of Religion, Malaysian Studies, and Moral Education.
His primary research interests are in socio-political issues in relation to multiculturalism and ethnic integration. A strong proponent of cultural diversity, he has been involved in research and consultancy projects promoting peace education and intercultural dialogue.
