Shayan Aqdas is an English language teacher, who has a wide variety of skills and has worked in several fields, including marketing, content writing, management, and human resources. She currently teaches students of Higher Secondary level at City Postgraduate College for Women in Pakistan. She has worked with different organisations primarily for the empowerment of marginalized groups and for the promotion of education and literacy in the society, especially for the youth.

She has studied bachelors in English Linguistics and Literature with courses in TEFL, and has written multiple term papers and projects during her undergraduate years. As an English teacher, with interests in research, she has been employing innovative teaching methodologies to enhance her learners’ performance. Few of her research interests are e-learning, innovative practices in ELT, student focused learning, TEFL/TESOL methodologies. She plans to pursue research studies in Applied Linguistics and TESOL.
