Prof. Magaji served as Head of Economics Department at University of Abuja, Nigeria. He was also the Director of Quality Assurance and the immediate former Director of Academic Planning of the University. He is a regular expert for the National University Commission (NUC) of Nigeria and National Education Resources and Development Council on resources verification, accreditation and Curriculum Development activities. He is a full time Faculty member of Social Science, University of Abuja and is trained in Quality Assurance by Association of African Universities. He is certified e-teacher by Common Wealth of Learning; Open University of Tanzania; National Open University of Nigeria; Open University of UK and NUC.
