Gavin Hewitt is a prominent writer and broadcaster.

Gavin was the BBC ’s former Chief Correspondent and Europe Editor. During his career, Gavin was in East Berlin the night the Berlin wall came down and in Moscow for the end of communism, he covered the 9/11 attacks in New York and reported extensively on American politics including the Obama and Trump campaigns.

He has presented 50 editions of Panorama, the BBC’s flagship Current Affairs programme and won a Bafta, a Royal Television society award and an Emmy for his work.

As an author, Gavin has had three books published including the ‘Lost Continent’ on the political and economic crisis in Europe and is currently finishing a book called the ‘Dictator’s Friend.’ He chairs an investment forum in Brussels.
