An Associate Professor of Petroleum Engineering at Sudan University of Science and Technology (SUST) – Khartoum, Sudan; the Oil Gas Manager at Newtech Consulting Group, as well as a research professor at University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, USA. She is also a college member at UK Research and Innovation International Development Peer Review College (UKRI). Dr. Tagwa is a former dean of College of Petroleum Engineering and Technology (2014-2019) and has15+ years of diverse experience in oil and gas engineering education and industry, reservoir simulation, reservoir engineering, reservoir management, IOR/EOR, and intellectual property. She also has extensive research experience in addition to significant contribution to community services both locally and internationally. She is the first Sudanese woman to receive a PhD in the Petroleum Engineering field
and has many local and international awards.
