Dr Prashanth Gouda, MBBS, MD, DNB, MRCPCH (UK), is Associate Professor, Department of Paediatrics, National University of Science and Technology, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. Paediatric patient care, clinical research and medical education have been his areas of interest over 12 years. He is currently investigating the use of AI-based technology to develop a module for training clinical year medical students in diagnostic reasoning as part of his project at International FAIMER Institute, Philadelphia. He has authored more than 45 journal articles that include research papers, case studies and commentaries covering diverse aspects of clinical medicine, medical education and research.
