Prior to his appointment as Chairman of Quality Operations of Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University / Dammam / Saudi Arabia. Dr Mohammed Awadallah Musa served as a consultant and a director for quality assurance of higher education for many academic institutions. He is licensed as external reviewer from the National Center for Assessment and Academic Evaluation (NCAAA) / Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC).

He has been certified as Six Sigma Black Built holder, he has experience in higher education and quality assurance for more than 20 years, serving in many academic and administrative positions. He contributed effectively in IAU institutional accreditation in 2015 and reaccreditation 2022, in addition to reviewing Self-Study Reports of more than 30 academic programs, managing and coordinating its national and international accreditation processes.

He was the Head of Radiology Department in Al Ghad International Colleges for Health Specialties from 2010 – 2013, during that period he was the director of quality unit and member of the Higher quality committee for the branches of colleges in KSA. Dr Mohammed Awadallah Musa obtained B. Sc. Degree in Diagnostic Radiology (1998) from Sudan University for Science and Technology and master degree in Medical Diagnostic Ultrasound (2005) from the Al Ziem Al Azhary University in Sudan. He earned his Ph. D. degree in Medical Diagnostic Ultrasound from L.U.D.es University, Switzerland in 2008.
