Dr. Faisal Omar Almahroogi Aledressie teaches at the Islamic University of Madinah in the Faculty of Engineering – Mechanical Department as a faculty member and leads some of the adminstrative committees like Innovation and Creativity and Faculty Development. Formerly, he was the Dean for Development at Qassim University building leaders and faculties to master their learning and lead in the right direction. At the Islamic University of Madinah, he is leading a major design teaching students how to build a formula SAE car to compete with top universities from all over the world to endeavor to win the contest and become a global champion. Dr. Faisal has actually, worked directly with students assiduously to achieve that mission and guide them on the design and manufacture of many parts of the formula SAE. Under his supervision the final prototype of the first Formula of SAE designed and manufactured according to the specification of the SAE 2022 is completed by a Saudi university. Several outcomes of the senior design project at the ME department have been achieved through all the batches of students taught by Dr. Faisal to learn and master the making of a robust Formula SAE car that will qualify the international contest soon. He is a master trainer from the Association of Talent Development (ATD), with significant level of confidence achieved in training students to be accomplished leaders in the future by mastering complex and challenging engineering projects.
