Dr. Alfredo Soeiro is Civil Engineer (UPorto), associate professor at UPorto, former Pro-Rector of UPorto; completed Ph.D. (UFlorida). He is the president of IACEE, AUPEC and of SEFI. Dr. Alberto is General Secretary of Association of European Civil Engineering Faculties (AECEF). 

He is Vice President of International Safety and Health Construction Coordinators Organization (ISHCCO). He is a prestigious Member of Management Board of European Distance and E-learning Network Digital Learning Europe (EDEN DLE). Expert EQAVET (European Quality Assurance Vocational Education and Training), ANQEP. Expert evaluator as publication of National Agency Erasmus+ (2021-27).

Member of the European University Scientific Committee (EELISA). ENETOSH “Ambassador” in Portugal. Global Talent Mentoring Mentor. Member of FEANI Strategic Task Force.

Coordinator of the Ethics in Education in Engineering group of the Portuguese Society for Education in Engineering (SPEE). Member of the SIC Technical Commission of the Spanish National Agency for Quality and Accreditation (ANECA), expert of A3ES and quality evaluator of programs of SKVC. Member of editorial boards of scientific journals on education and engineering (EJEE, IJQCSSE, EURODL, JISC).
