Prof. Khairiyah Mohd Yusof is Prestigious Sessions Speaker at IN4OBE Global Summit 2022

Prof. Dr. Khairiyah Mohd Yusof (khairiyah@utm.my) School of Chemical and Energy Engineering and Centre for Engineering Education Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Khairiyah Mohd Yusof is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and the fellow of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Centre for Engineering Education (CEE), which promotes scholarly and evidence-based practices in engineering education. She is the President for the Society of Engineering Education Malaysia (SEEM) and was Vice President for the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES) from 2014 to 2018, and a Board Member for the International Research in Engineering Education Network (REEN) from 2010 to 2017. Khairiyah is passionate in implementing and promoting meaningful learning in higher education, especially in engineering. She is regularly invited to speak at conferences and conduct workshops throughout Malaysia and in various countries in Asia, Australia, Europe and North and South America. Her interest led her to take a scholarly path to deepen her knowledge, improve her practice and widen the impact through engineering education research, focusing on innovative teaching and learning practices, faculty development, curriculum design and Engineering Education for Sustainable Development. As part of her effort to learn and contribute to the scholarly engineering education community, she serves on the Editorial Boards of the ASEAN Journal of Engineering Education, the IChemE Journal of Education for Chemical Engineers, the European Journal of Engineering Education and was on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Engineering Education (2012-2018). For her contributions in engineering education, she is the recipient of several international awards, including the prestigious 2018 Duncan Fraser IFEES Global Engineering Education Award. She had also previously won several awards, the 2017 Student Platform on Engineering Education (SPEED) Mentorship Award and the 2015 Frank Morton Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) Global Award for Chemical Engineering Education Excellence.
