Dr. Mel Greg Concepcion, Ed.D. is an Associate Professor IV of the Philippine Normal University where he teaches masters and doctoral graduate programs. He was with a Jesuit school for 36 years as grade school and middle/junior school science teacher, science department chairperson, student activity program coordinator and student development and welfare coordinator. As researcher, he conducted several researches in education, science, and school management and leadership, He also serves as research panel, thesis adviser and consultant. He authored Exploring Science Book 3 for elementary, as science content consultant of the Department of Education for K-12 learning modules, and conducted various training workshops for upskilling and retooling of teachers. He serves as guest lecturer for classroom management and school discipline of the Center for Educational Measurement, Inc. (CEM) and as plenary speaker in various in-service trainings of government and private schools. He also served as regional and national judge for science investigatory research projects. He attended local and international trainings for school transformation, design and forward thinking, disaster and resiliency management programs, special education and care management programs, and technology innovations for school of the future. He is a member of various professional organizations and quality assurance associations. He is an active school accreditor of Commission on Accreditation for Local Colleges and Universities (ALCUCOA).
Tam is responsible for Faculty-wide initiatives on digitally-enabled learning and teaching and works closely with the University on a range of strategic projects. Tam has held leadership roles in a number of higher education companies and institutions in Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Architecture), Masters of Education and graduate degrees in areas of communication and cultural studies.
