Dr.M.A.Ansari received B.Tech. from A.M.U. Aligarh in 1998 and M.Tech. from I.I.T. Roorkee in 2001. He obtained Ph.D. in 2009 from I.I.T. Roorkee in the area of Medical Image Processing.
He is currently serving as head of the electrical engineering department at Gautam Buddha University, Gr. Noida and coordinating several academic responsibilities of the university. Before switching over to GBU, he has worked in College of Engineering Roorkee, GCET Gr. Noidaand faculty of Engineering, IslamicUniversity, Madina, KSA.
During this period, he has worked for many administrative positions such as Head of the Department, Dean (I/C), Coordinator International Relations, IEEE Branch Counselor, Coordinator-Alumni Affairs, Research & Projects, University Admissions, NAAC/NBA/ABETaccreditations, Chair HAC/SIGHT IEEE UP Section, India.
During this span of time, he has organized and attended several workshops, seminars, FDPs, STTPs, national and international conferences and chaired several sessions, delivered key note &invited talks.
His area of research interest includes Applications of DWT, Soft Computing, AI & ML in DIP, DSP, Bio-energy and Renewable Energy etc.
He has supervised more than 10 PhDs, 100 M.Tech. dissertations and 120 B.Tech. projects. He has published more than 200 research papers& 04 patents innational/international conferences and reputed journals. He has been contributing as Editor/Reviewerto various Journals/Conferencesand has developed several course curriculums.
He is senior member of IEEE, IETand several other technical bodies. He is life member of ISIAM, ISTE andAlumni Association of AMU and I.I.T. Roorkee. He is currently working as Chair IEEE HAC-SIGHT Committee, UP Section.
Recently, he has been given as excellent teacher award by AHCI for his dedicated services to this noble profession.
Dr. Ansari has more than 21 Years of experience in teaching, research and industry including three years of overseas experience to his credit and is associated with several technical & social bodies for the service of the nation.
