As researcher, he conducted several researches in education, science, and school management and leadership.

Dr Uddin has over 18 years of experience in textile and garment production, academic research and environmental consultancy. He is considered as a hybrid between technical excellence and business intellect. He is passionate about developing the industrial sector of Bangladesh organically through research and development, creating a new generation of social and environmental champions and liaise between industry and academia for future needs.
Dr Uddin is one of the team members of ‘creating a strategic vision for the university to be in the global education ranking.’ He is also Assistant Director in Skills For Employment Investment Program (SEIP) project for developing skills for executives in the Textile and RMG sector to build world-class managers in association with Ministry of Finance, the Government of Bangladesh.
Dr Uddin is Co-author of the ‘National Chemical Management Guideline for Textile and Apparel Industry’ by the Ministry of Commerce and a taskforce member for the Ministry of Commerce. He co-authored a book titled ‘Manual for Sludge Management in Bangladesh Textile Sector’. He is a certified trainer for ‘Chemical Management’ and ‘Sludge Management’ for Textile industry for GIZ and ‘Dyehouse Management’ by Textile Institute UK. He trained representatives from more than 100 textile factories, 20 government officials from the Department of Environment (DoE), brand representatives and service providers. He has received Japanese Government Monbusho Scholarship (October 2002 – March 2006). Prof. Muzahid has over Six (06) years of Industrial Experiences in Bangladesh and in Japan. Since January 2011 Prof. Muzahid has started his career as an Academician.
Until January 2017, he has served as a Senior Lecturer at Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT) of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has served as the IT Manager and a Member of the Management Committee of MJIIT for around 05 years. He has then served as an Associate Professor and Head in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) until September 2018.
Currently, he is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at United International University (UIU), Bangladesh. His research interests include Network Architecture, Communication Protocol, Cognitive Radio Network, Software Defined Radio, Wireless Sensor Network, IoT, Cloud Computing and Healthcare, whereas teaching interests include Structured Programming Language, Data structure, Computer Networks, Data Communication, Wireless Communication, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), etc. Prof. Muzahid has published over 95 international research publications (including 02 Book Chapter, 29 peer-reviewed Journals and 64 Conference Papers).
He has secured more than 10 National and International Research Grants. Prof. Muzahid has supervised 07 PhD students (05 – as the Main Supervisor), 04 Masters students, and many BEng Final Year Project through their graduation. Currently, he is also supervising 02 other PhD students (external supervisor) and 10 Master’s Students. Prof. Muzahid is the initiator and General Chair of the International Conference on Bangabandhu and Digital Bangladesh (ICBBDB 2021). He is also the initiator and Technical Program Chair in ICAICT 2016 and ICAICT 2020 Int’l Conferences.
He has served as the TPC Chair in the ETCCE 2020 and ETCCE 2021 Int’l Conferences and as Secretariat in the ICaTAS 2016 Int’l Conference, Malaysia and 7TH AUN/SEED-Net 2014 Int’l Conference on EEE. He was an Advisory Member of ICBAPS2015, Malaysia, and also played as the Communication Track Chair at ICIEV15, ICAEE 2015, ICAEE 2017 and ICAEE 2019 Int’l Conferences. Dr. Muzahid has served as an Associate Editor in the International Journal of Computer and Information Technology (IJCIT).
